Originally from the Netherlands, Frank and Nicole Bakker moved to India in 2002. Seeing poor condition and circumstances of the women and children, they purposed to do all they could to serve the Indian people. The Bakkers saw firsthand the enormous need of women and children suffering from HIV/AIDS. In January 2005, Frank and Nicole opened up their home to the first child, Shaheena. This was the beginning of House of Hope, House of Hope.
Frank received his Bachelor’s in Product Development and Engineering in 2000 and is working on his Masters program in Entrepreneurial Management. Nicole has a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Nicole is the overseer of House of Hope. They live with their three children, Jaleesa (6) ,Nadine (4) and Justin (0) in Pune, India.
